STORYLINE
A.D. 2000
In the year 2000 a unknown lifeform lands
in Antarctica. An investigation is launched, but unexpectedly the
lifeform (or angel) self-destructs creating a massive explosion melting
the polar ice cap. The ocean level rises drastically submerging many
populated areas. The reason given for this explosion is a meteor
impact and it comes to be known as "The Second Impact".
A.D. 2001-14
In the following years mankind recovers itself
at an astonishing rate and N.E.R.V. is established. An organization
dedicated to preparing for the return of the Angels. They develop
the Evangelions, fighting machines piloted by young teenagers. They
are mankind's only hope for survival.
A.D. 2015
Our story begins as Shinji Ikari recieves
a summons from his father, who he hasn't seen in years, to come to N.E.R.V
headquarters. Once there he reluctantly pilots an Eva against an
Angel.
From point on the story really gets interesting! Shinji must
battle with his own personal demons as well as the Angels.Many other characters come into his life including the ever lovely beer-guzzling Katsuragi Misato (Pictured above left)... but I'll leave the rest for you
to find out on your own.
